California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager

Job Summary

Driving clinical documentation integrity initiatives, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will oversee quality assurance reviews of medical records, manage audits for regulatory compliance, and lead staff training to enhance documentation practices in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical documentation reviews and ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records
• Drive improvements in clinical documentation processes through data analysis and root cause identification
• Manage staff training and establish partnerships with medical leadership to promote clinical documentation education

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
• Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, or case management
