California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvement initiatives in clinical documentation integrity (CDI), and ensure regulatory compliance while providing mentorship and training to staff in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee scheduling for clinical documentation reviews
• Lead data analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities in CDI processes
• Oversee staff training and education, establishing partnerships with medical leadership to promote CDI initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
• Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, or case management, or eleven (11) years in a directly related field
