California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance checks on medical records, drive improvements in the clinical documentation integrity (CDI) program, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation
• Lead data and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities in CDI processes and oversee market operations
• Drive staff training and education by establishing partnerships between the CDI team and medical leadership to promote CDI training programs

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
• Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, or case management
