California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee scheduling for documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Lead data and root cause analyses to identify opportunities for improving clinical documentation processes and implement CDI initiatives
• Facilitate staff training and education programs in collaboration with medical leadership to promote clinical documentation best practices

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
• Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, case management, or a directly related field
