Job Summary
The full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will oversee clinical documentation reviews, manage audits for regulatory compliance, and drive staff training initiatives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee quality assurance reviews of medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation
- Lead data and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities within the clinical documentation improvement (CDI) program
- Manage staff training and establish partnerships with medical leadership to promote clinical documentation education
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, or case management
