Job Summary
Leading the clinical documentation integrity program, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will oversee quality assurance reviews of medical records, drive process improvements, and manage compliance audits while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical documentation reviews and ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records
- Drive improvements in clinical documentation processes through data analysis and root cause identification
- Manage staff training and education initiatives to enhance clinical documentation practices
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, or a directly related field
