Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage clinical documentation reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records
  • Lead data analyses and identify improvement opportunities within the clinical documentation improvement program
  • Oversee staff training and education initiatives, establishing partnerships with medical leadership to enhance clinical documentation training
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, or case management
