Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance reviews, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity processes, and manage staff training and compliance audits in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation
- Lead data analyses and identify improvement opportunities within the clinical documentation improvement program
- Oversee training and education initiatives for staff, fostering partnerships with medical leadership to enhance clinical documentation practices
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
- Eight (8) years of experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, or case management, or eleven (11) years in a directly related field
