Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee scheduling for clinical documentation reviews
- Drive improvements in clinical documentation processes through data analysis and root cause identification
- Lead staff training and education initiatives, establishing partnerships with medical leadership to promote clinical documentation training
Required qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
- Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License (California) required at hire
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
