Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical records for accurate and complete documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with MS-DRG regulations
- Conduct concurrent medical record reviews to reflect the severity of illness and quality of care
Required Qualifications
- IMG with a medical degree or RN license
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Clinical Documentation Specialist
- Experience in OBGYN, Pediatrics, or Inpatient Psychiatry preferred
- CCDS or CCDIP certification required
- Experience with quality-based reviews and risk adjustment tools preferred
