Key Responsibilities
- Conduct concurrent and retrospective chart reviews to improve clinical documentation
- Communicate with providers to clarify documentation requirements and obtain necessary specificity
- Utilize ICD-10 and related materials to address coding issues and provide recommendations for improvement
Required Qualifications
- RN License (BSN Required) OR Medical Degree
- 3+ years of experience in acute care hospital clinical settings or CDI
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Electronic Medical Records
