Job Summary

California Licensed Clinical Documentation Specialist, this full-time position involves performing concurrent and retrospective chart reviews to enhance clinical documentation completeness while maintaining knowledge of coding trends and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct concurrent and retrospective chart reviews to improve clinical documentation
• Communicate with providers to clarify documentation requirements and obtain necessary specificity
• Utilize ICD-10 and related materials to address coding issues and provide recommendations for improvement

Required Qualifications

• RN License (BSN Required) OR Medical Degree
• 3+ years of experience in acute care hospital clinical settings or CDI
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Electronic Medical Records
