California Licensed Clinical Informatics Specialist

Job Summary

Transforming complex EHRs into engaging learning experiences, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Informatics Specialist will design and deliver innovative training programs for clinicians and teams, ensuring user confidence and system adoption in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement curriculum focused on adult learning principles and real-world workflows
• Deliver dynamic virtual classes and self-paced eLearning, along with multimedia content and go-live support
• Collaborate with clinical informatics partners and stakeholders to optimize training effectiveness and user engagement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Informatics, or Healthcare
• Epic certification in assigned modules within 6 months of hire
• 2 years of experience in designing and delivering education and training materials
• 2 years of experience with business and/or clinical information systems in a healthcare setting
• Active license as a clinician if applicable (e.g., RN, Physical Therapist, etc.)
