California Licensed Clinical Manager
Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time remote California Licensed Clinical Manager will perform quality assurance on medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while providing mentorship and training to staff.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage quality assurance reviews of medical/health records and oversee the scheduling of reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Lead data analyses and identify improvement opportunities within the CDI program to enhance documentation processes
- Develop and implement training programs in partnership with medical leadership to promote effective CDI practices
Required qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field with at least eight (8) years of relevant experience
- California Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License required at hire
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
