California Licensed Clinical Nurse

Job Summary

Providing specialized clinical support in a remote capacity, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Nurse will manage patient care coordination, expedite symptomatic triage, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the cancer patient experience and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform expedited symptomatic clinical triage and provide clinical advice to oncology patients and caregivers
• Coordinate patient communication and education, preparing patients for procedures and managing inpatient-outpatient discharge care
• Identify opportunities to improve patient access and assist in developing new operational programs through data collection and review

Required qualifications

• California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 2 years of progressively responsible RN work experience in outpatient ambulatory oncology; 5 years preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred
• OCN certification and prior telephonic oncology triage experience preferred
