Job Summary
Providing clinical support in a specialized nursing role, the part-time California Licensed Clinical Nurse will focus on triaging cancer patients, coordinating care, and enhancing patient access to services, primarily in a remote setting with occasional onsite requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Expedite symptomatic clinical triage and provide clinical advice to oncology patients and caregivers
- Coordinate patient communication, education, and healthcare navigation to streamline care transitions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient access and enhance the overall cancer care experience
Required qualifications
- California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 2 years of outpatient ambulatory oncology experience required; 5 years preferred
- Preferred OCN certification and prior telephonic oncology triage experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred
