California Licensed Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary

Serving as a clinical supervisor for teacher credential candidates, the part-time California Licensed Clinical Supervisor will facilitate site acclimation, collaborate with mentor teachers, and assess candidates' growth through remote observations and ongoing communication.

Key responsibilities

• Guide teacher credential candidates through formative and summative assessments using GoReact for remote observations
• Maintain regular communication with candidates and mentor teachers, reviewing lesson and unit plans
• Attend ongoing training to provide appropriate CalTPA support for Cycles 1 & 2

Required qualifications

• Must hold a California Teaching Credential in the relevant content area
• Master's degree in education or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
• Minimum of 5-7 years of teaching experience in diverse school settings
• Knowledge of Common Core and California state standards, including effective strategies for English learners and students with special needs
• Experience mentoring teachers and/or teacher credential candidates
