California Licensed Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To secure enterprise cloud infrastructure and AI/ML product capabilities, the full-time California Licensed Cloud Security Engineer will lead large security projects, develop secure coding practices, and collaborate with cross-departmental teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage large security projects and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA and HITRUST
• Develop secure code for security tooling and drive the integration of security solutions across business units
• Conduct security assessments on AI/ML models and implement guardrails to protect sensitive data

Required qualifications

• 7+ years in Information Security, with at least 1 year focused on AI risk evaluation and remediation
• Hands-on experience securing AWS, GCP, or Azure environments using automated tools
• Strong coding skills for developing secure tooling and automation
• Deep understanding of healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA and HITRUST
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing security projects and mentoring junior team members
