Job Summary
To ensure high-quality patient-centered care, the part-time California Licensed Collaborating Physician will provide clinical oversight and mentorship to a Virtual Nurse Practitioner while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and company protocols in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical guidance and support to a Virtual Nurse Practitioner, including monthly check-ins
- Review medical records as required by state regulations and company policies
- Participate in case reviews, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain care standards
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree in California
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of California
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in a supervisory or collaborative role
- Experience with telemedicine and remote patient monitoring tools
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
