Job Summary

Responsible for managing account collections, the full-time California Licensed Collector will ensure accounts are paid in full, follow up on billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate logs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on all accounts from billing to zero balance and ensure necessary adjustments are made
• Maintain timely and accurate logs of all billing and collections activities
• Send follow-up letters to insurance companies and handle patient collections post-insurance payment

Required qualifications

• Valid California Licensed Collector certification
• Experience in medical billing and collections
• Proficiency in handling insurance claims and follow-ups
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate logs
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
