Job Summary

To support students in grades 9-12 with their college admissions journey, the part-time California Licensed College Admissions Coach will conduct meetings with families, develop college lists, provide essay support, and manage application timelines in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular meetings with students and parents to create and review college admissions strategies
• Develop a balanced college list tailored to students' goals and interests
• Provide guidance on college essay writing and application submission timelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 4-10 hours of availability per week
• At least two years of experience as a former admissions officer, college prep guidance counselor, or independent educational consultant
• Expert knowledge of college admissions criteria at competitive institutions
• Proven exceptional writing skills and strong relationship-building abilities
