Job Summary

Reviewing and processing complex commercial insurance claims, the full-time California Licensed Commercial Claims Examiner will manage a caseload, examine claims investigated by independent adjusters, and ensure compliance with company procedures while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of commercial property claims from assignment through resolution
  • Examine claims investigated by independent adjusters to determine insurance coverage and validity
  • Review and adjust commercial loss reserves and authorize payments submitted by independent adjusters
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of property claims adjusting experience, including 2+ years in commercial property claims
  • Comprehensive understanding of policy contracts, statutes, and claims processes
  • Certified in CEA and Fair Claims Settlement Practices
  • Working experience with MS-Office, especially Word and Excel
