Job Summary
Reviewing and processing complex commercial insurance claims, the full-time California Licensed Commercial Claims Examiner will manage a caseload, examine claims investigated by independent adjusters, and ensure compliance with company procedures while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of commercial property claims from assignment through resolution
- Examine claims investigated by independent adjusters to determine insurance coverage and validity
- Review and adjust commercial loss reserves and authorize payments submitted by independent adjusters
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of property claims adjusting experience, including 2+ years in commercial property claims
- Comprehensive understanding of policy contracts, statutes, and claims processes
- Certified in CEA and Fair Claims Settlement Practices
- Working experience with MS-Office, especially Word and Excel
