Job Summary
California Licensed Commercial Contracts Attorney, seeking a part-time, temporary position for 6-9 months to provide legal support in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements
- Provide guidance on contract terms, risk, and business considerations
- Assist in updating contract templates and support domestic and international transactions
Required Qualifications
- J.D. required; active bar license in good standing
- Approximately 5-6+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house setting
- Strong background in commercial contracts and business-facing legal functions
- Ability to operate as a generalist handling various legal issues
- Experience in regulated industries such as food, agriculture, or manufacturing is a plus
