Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Commercial Contracts Attorney for a full-time, engagement-to-hire opportunity, this role will manage commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and marketing law for a consumer lifestyle brand, with the potential for a fully remote arrangement for exceptional candidates.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and revise various commercial agreements, including IP licensing and influencer contracts
• Advise on product safety and regulatory compliance matters, taking ownership of compliance monitoring and response
• Support marketing initiatives by reviewing promotional materials and advising on advertising law compliance

Required qualifications:

• California-licensed attorney with relevant experience in commercial contracts and compliance
• Hands-on experience with commercial contract drafting and negotiation is required
• Exposure to regulatory compliance, particularly in consumer product safety or California-specific frameworks, is highly valued
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Organized and able to manage multiple workstreams independently in a remote or hybrid setting
