Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance on various commercial agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate vendor and procurement contracts, including SaaS and technology agreements
• Provide guidance on data privacy and security matters, including the negotiation of Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with operational objectives and company strategies

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one jurisdiction
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in technology or SaaS sectors
• Proven expertise in negotiating vendor agreements and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
• Strong familiarity with AI-related contract provisions and privacy frameworks such as GDPR is highly desirable
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing contract tools and templates
