Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the remote Director of Commercial Legal will navigate Services and Software agreements, manage deal processes, and define AI governance frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel on risks and opportunities of proposed commercial actions, providing solution-oriented legal guidance
• Own all legal aspects of customer engagements, leveraging insights across Commercial Law and Product & Pricing Strategy
• Define and maintain AI governance frameworks for commercial legal matters, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state
• 10+ years of legal experience, with significant in-house experience focused on product law, data privacy, or technology law
• Background in technology, talent assessment platforms, or professional services/workforce solutions preferred
• Experience operationalizing legal processes in a high-growth environment and partnering with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated experience defining AI governance frameworks and navigating emerging technology legal considerations
