California Licensed Commercial Lines Manager

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of trucking and transportation commercial lines, the part-time temporary California Licensed Commercial Lines Manager will independently service a designated book of middle to large market clients, analyze exposures, develop marketing strategies, and negotiate rates while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Support a trucking commercial lines book of business and update producers on account status
• Analyze current exposures to craft renewal or new marketing strategies and manage the marketing process
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and manage financial responsibilities including invoicing and receivables

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of recent commercial lines client management experience in trucking or transportation industries
• Deep understanding of the P&C marketplace with the ability to underwrite and market accounts effectively
• Positive attitude and active P&C license in home state and non-resident CA license or resident license in California
• Applied EPIC experience of 2+ years (preferred)
• College degree and insurance designation preferred
