Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counsel, Compliance to provide legal management and guidance on compliance obligations related to utility scale solar development and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret regulations affecting renewable energy technology
• Enhance the compliance framework to address regulatory and corporate legal compliance
• Draft and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• J.D. and active law license (preferably in CA, AZ, NM, NV)
• 4+ years of experience in finance and regulatory law
• Deep understanding of laws and regulations related to solar and energy storage systems
• Experience in reviewing and analyzing debt covenants and financial requirements
• Familiarity with solar and energy storage technologies and their operational requirements
