California Licensed Compliance Attorney
Job Summary
Seeking a Temporary Part-time California Licensed Compliance Attorney to provide legal and compliance support for pharmaceutical and biotech operations on a flexible contract basis, focusing on promotional material reviews, compliance guidance, and commercial agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the compliance/legal reviewer on the Promotional Review Committee (PRC), evaluating promotional and non-promotional materials for legal and compliance risks
- Provide guidance on healthcare compliance matters, including the Anti-Kickback Statute and Sunshine Act, while partnering with cross-functional teams
- Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including Consulting Agreements and Vendor Contracts
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare compliance
- Direct experience participating in or supporting a Promotional Review Committee (PRC)
- Strong knowledge of FDA promotional regulations and healthcare compliance laws and regulations
