California Licensed Compliance Consultant
Job Summary
To support compliance initiatives, the full-time California Licensed Compliance Consultant will independently review medical records for accurate coding, serve as a subject matter expert in coding compliance, and assist with auditing and reporting in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of medical records to ensure accurate coding and compliance with regulations
- Develop and summarize compliance reports, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and monitor compliance initiatives and address documentation issues
Required qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of medical coding experience
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or related field, along with a minimum of six (6) years in health care compliance or related fields
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder or equivalent coding certification
