California Licensed Compliance Consultant
Job Summary
To support compliance initiatives, the full-time California Licensed Compliance Consultant will independently review medical records for coding accuracy, validate diagnoses, and ensure adherence to coding guidelines while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducts compliance activities by collaborating with stakeholders and applying regulations to compliance efforts
- Develops compliance reports by evaluating data, summarizing audit information, and reporting on key compliance drivers
- Assists with compliance investigations by collecting and analyzing data, conducting interviews, and providing input for corrective action plans
Required qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of medical coding experience
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or related field with a minimum of six (6) years in health care compliance or related areas
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder or equivalent coding certification
