Job Summary
Supporting Health Plan Risk Adjustment operations, the full-time California Licensed Compliance Consultant will ensure government audit readiness, perform coding validation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance coding quality and compliance in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage compliance activities by collaborating with stakeholders and applying regulations to strategic initiatives
- Conduct audits and develop compliance reports, summarizing data and identifying potential risks
- Coordinate compliance efforts by assessing current practices, creating standards, and monitoring adherence
Required qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of medical coding experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in health care compliance or related areas
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder or equivalent coding certification
