California Licensed Compliance Consultant
Job Summary
Serving as a compliance subject matter expert, the full-time California Licensed Compliance Consultant will independently review medical records for coding accuracy, validate documentation, and support compliance initiatives while working remotely within authorized states.
Key responsibilities:
- Independently review and assign ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes for various medical records
- Conduct compliance investigations and develop reports summarizing compliance data and potential risks
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance standards, policies, and training materials
Required qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of medical coding experience
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or a related field, plus six (6) years of experience in health care compliance or related areas
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder or equivalent coding certification
