California Licensed Compliance Consultant
Job Summary
To enhance compliance in medical coding, the full-time California Licensed Compliance Consultant will supervise coding operations, ensure adherence to ICD-10-CM standards, and lead compliance initiatives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee coding operations to ensure diagnoses are supported by proper documentation and meet compliance standards
- Conduct compliance activities and develop strategic initiatives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze compliance data and audit information to identify risks and develop presentations for management
Required qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) years of medical coding experience
- Minimum three (3) years in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or a related field with at least eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Certified Coding Specialist or equivalent certification from recognized organizations
