California Licensed Compliance Consultant
Job Summary
To support compliance initiatives, the full-time California Licensed Compliance Consultant will independently review medical records for accurate coding, serve as a subject matter expert in coding compliance, and assist in the development of audit reports while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Independently review and assign ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes for various medical records
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct compliance activities and develop strategic initiatives
- Evaluate compliance data and develop reports summarizing key findings and recommendations
Required qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of medical coding experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in health care compliance or related areas
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder, Certified Coding Specialist, or Certified Professional Coder
