California Licensed Compliance Consultant
Job Summary
To support compliance initiatives in medical coding, the full-time California Licensed Compliance Consultant will independently review medical records, assign ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducts compliance activities by collaborating with stakeholders and documenting compliance efforts
- Develops compliance reports by evaluating data and summarizing key compliance drivers and performance indicators
- Assists in managing projects related to compliance components and coordinates stakeholder contacts
Required qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of medical coding experience
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or related field, plus six (6) years of experience in health care compliance or related fields
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder, Certified Coding Specialist, or Certified Professional Coder
