Job Summary
Managing compliance activities and audit readiness, the full-time California Licensed Compliance Manager will oversee medical coding compliance, perform coding validation, and collaborate with various teams to enhance coding quality and ensure regulatory adherence in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance reporting and manage the evaluation of compliance data and potential risks
- Develop and implement the annual coding audit plan in collaboration with reimbursement compliance teams
- Serve as a subject matter expert on coding functions, providing training and support for compliance initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of medical coding experience
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or related field
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder or equivalent coding certification
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in health care compliance or related fields
