Job Summary
Leading compliance governance and regulatory oversight, the full-time California Licensed Compliance VP will manage disability and leave operations, ensuring adherence to FMLA, ADA, and other relevant laws while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct compliance programs for FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, and state leave initiatives
- Translate complex regulations into operational practices and provide executive guidance on compliance strategy
- Oversee compliance audits, risk assessments, and lead responses to regulatory inquiries and investigations
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school required
- 12+ years of legal and regulatory compliance experience, with at least 5 years in executive leadership roles
- Expert knowledge of FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, and employment law
- Experience leading compliance audits and regulatory risk assessments
- Strong leadership and executive communication skills
