Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Computational Scientist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and validation of molecular assays and analytical pipelines
• Lead project teams to build, validate, and future-proof new products and features
• Mentor junior scientists and author publications demonstrating the scientific prowess of products and algorithms

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Biology, Statistics, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 6+ years of experience in analyzing large, noisy real-world data sets
• Experience in developing custom analysis methods and computational algorithms
• Strong computational skills, fluency in Python, and knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Multiple peer-reviewed publications
