California Licensed Consumer Loan Processor

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, a California Licensed Consumer Loan Processor will manage the origination, processing, and closing of consumer loans while ensuring compliance with lending procedures, and will be required to work evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, process, and close consumer loans in an automated environment while maintaining high-quality standards
• Collaborate with the Underwriter to ensure loan decisions align with established guidelines and communicate effectively with consumers and contractors
• Ensure compliance with all lending procedures and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Consumer Lending
• 3-5 years of experience in Consumer Lending with knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Strong analytical skills to identify inconsistencies and potential issues within loan documentation
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn new technology platforms quickly
• Ability to work evening and weekend shifts as required
