To support a global law firm, the contract California Licensed Contract Attorney will manage employment-based immigration filings, provide legal analysis, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely on a project basis.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and supervise paralegal work, ensuring compliance with internal standards
- Assess eligibility for corporate foreign national employees and prepare visa petitions and related filings
- Advise client stakeholders on immigration program management and draft supporting legal documents
Required qualifications
- J.D. or LL.M. with State Bar Membership
- Strong legal writing skills
- Experience in employment-based immigration
- Working knowledge of U.S. business immigration law
- Ability to draft and proofread independently
