California Licensed Contracts Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Contracts Counsel - Clinical.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, negotiate, and manage various contracts and documents related to clinical trials
• Collaborate with internal clients to ensure contracts reflect desired terms and minimize risks
• Act as the primary legal contact for the Clinical Development organization and manage contract-related risks

Required Qualifications

• JD degree with regulatory law experience (e.g., clinical, quality, GxP, and data protection)
• Admitted to a state bar in good standing
• 8+ years of relevant transactional experience, preferably in-house in a life sciences company
• Strong experience in reviewing and advising on legal consequences of contract terms
• Experience with Ironclad and ability to work independently and collaboratively
