California Licensed Contracts Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contracts Manager responsible for negotiating agreements with healthcare providers and ensuring effective contract implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures effective implementation of new and renewing contracts through communication and coordination with other functional areas
• Manages and controls the contractual relationship with providers, including contract development, negotiation, and maintenance
• Performs analysis of cost and utilization data, monitoring provider contracts to ensure terms and conditions are met

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience required; Master's degree preferred
• Experience in a health care setting at a payer, hospital, or provider contracting environment preferred
• Knowledge of health care contracting policies, procedures, and financial guidelines
• Ability to analyze financial and operational impacts of contractual proposals
• May require US citizenship and current security clearance
