California Licensed Controller

Job Summary

Managing financial operations for a complex multi-entity healthcare organization, the full-time California Licensed Controller will oversee monthly and year-end close processes, revenue and expense analysis, and GAAP financial statement generation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and year-end close processes, including revenue and expense analysis and financial statement generation across all entities
• Maintain robust internal controls and perform balance sheet reconciliations while converting accrual-based statements to cash-basis
• Present financial reports to executive leaders and partner with external tax advisors for compliance and strategy development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles
• Experience with GAAP financial reporting and multi-entity accounting
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance across federal and state jurisdictions
• Proven ability to manage financial operations in a healthcare setting
