California Licensed Corporate Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Corporate Attorney, the full-time remote Associate General Counsel will manage a wide range of corporate legal matters, including strategic transactions, corporate governance, and cross-functional initiatives while collaborating closely with executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support strategic transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings
• Advise the General Counsel and executive team on corporate legal matters and strategic initiatives
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements and transaction documents while managing outside counsel

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a high-growth technology company or leading law firm
• Strong foundation in corporate law with experience in corporate governance and complex transactions
• J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in at least one U.S. state bar, eligible for in-house counsel in California
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex matters and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders
• Interest in blockchain technology and willingness to develop expertise in the company's business and ecosystem
