Job Summary

A company is looking for a Japanese Fluent GC/Sr. In-House Counsel/Corporate Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute across various practice areas, including labor and employment, corporate counsel, and litigation
• Work directly with partners and clients in a client-facing capacity
• Support multiple practice groups while demonstrating flexibility and professionalism

Required Qualifications

• Active bar license in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction
• Fluency in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing) is required
• Prior experience as General Counsel, Senior In-House Counsel, or Corporate Counsel is preferred
• Adaptable and capable of supporting a variety of practice areas
• Willingness to submit a Japanese writing sample or take the ALTA exam if necessary
