Job Summary

A company is looking for a Japanese Fluent GC/Sr. In-House Counsel/Corporate Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across various practice areas, including labor and employment, corporate counsel, and litigation
• Work directly with partners and clients in a client-facing capacity
• Adapt to support multiple practice groups and contribute to a long-term engagement

Required Qualifications

• Active bar license in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction
• Fluency in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing) is required
• Prior experience as General Counsel, Senior In-House Counsel, or Corporate Counsel, preferably in-house
• Ability to work comfortably with partners and clients
• Willingness to provide a Japanese writing sample or take the Japanese ALTA exam if necessary
