Job Summary

California Licensed Corporate Counsel, seeking a full-time legal professional to manage commercial agreements, provide legal counsel on AI governance, and collaborate with various business units across the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and advise on complex deal structures
• Counsel business teams on legal topics including intellectual property, data privacy, and AI governance
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop best practices and policies in contracting and compliance

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a similar in-house role, preferably in enterprise software or open-source environments
• J.D. degree and active California license
• Working knowledge of open-source licensing models and AI/ML concepts
• Ability to work with various business units and translate legal concepts for diverse audiences
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new regulatory challenges, particularly in AI and privacy
