Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Corporate Counsel, the remote VP, Corporate Counsel will provide legal counsel on corporate finance, governance, and compliance matters, focusing on global trade, consumer product safety, and intellectual property.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support on corporate finance and governance matters, collaborating with various organizational departments
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and finance agreements, including debt and equity transactions
• Maintain corporate compliance and governance, advising on regulatory matters and best practices

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar
• 15+ years of in-house legal practice and public company experience
• Expertise in corporate finance and governance, including debt and equity experience
• General compliance legal experience
