California Licensed Cost Manager
Job Summary
To support healthcare construction projects, the full-time California Licensed Cost Manager will manage client relationships, provide cost management services, and lead cost planning and estimation efforts while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle
- Providing leadership in developing cost plans and estimates during the design phase
- Managing cost checks, valuations, and post-contract cost variances effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry
- RICS accreditation or progress towards it is preferred
- Experience leading cost management on medium to large-sized construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes and value engineering
