California Licensed Cost Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Cost Manager, the full-time position will manage client relationships and deliver comprehensive cost management services, including estimating, negotiating change orders, and preparing cost plans, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle
• Prepare and present final cost plans while coordinating with design and contractor teams
• Manage post-contract cost variances and ensure effective change control processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry
• RICS accreditation or progress towards it is preferred
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes and value engineering
